From 1948, the year of its first steps, since today, the Aurora Girarrosto is a reference point for a restaurant that pays attention to the enhancement of traditional flavors. A gastronomic proposal that focuses on the quality of the raw material and which has its strengths in homemade pasta, the basic ingredient of all first courses, in the authenticity and freshness of meat and fish, in the quality of seasonal products and desserts of the house, an indispensable end-of-meal delicacy.

 

For three generations the Cerchi family has received its guests in the rooms of the Aurora Girarrosto restaurant, a consolidated presence in the Tortona area.

Until the 1960s, a place of rest and refreshment for Lombard tourists who traveled the road to Genoa heading towards the localities of Tigullio, today the restaurant still retains some of the memory of those times in spirit and atmosphere.

 

The son with his wife and grandchildren of Elda and Angelo, the unforgettable "host" who was the founder and animator, with his passion and friendliness of this place, have dedicated themselves to keeping intact over time the best of what the tradition and cuisine of this restaurant can offer.
